It also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.

Repack Operative - Market Drayton

Permanent contract: 4 on 4 off, 7-7 (days and nights in rotation)

£30,174 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Repack Key Operative at our Market Drayton site. With this role we offer a competitive salary, bonus, pension, life assurance and a flexible benefits programme. 

Repack Key Operative – Key responsibilities:

• Accurately complete protocols and all other company documentation related to this position
• Proactive approach to all matters concerning Health and Safety
• Co-operate with the employer in assisting them to fulfil their statutory duties
• Work in conjunction with Agency Co-ordinator in allocating work duties to agency staff to ensure an effective working environment
• Control the ordering of WIP and Raw Material stocks in a timely manner to avoid machine starvation and maximize line efficiencies
• To use all company equipment for the purpose it was intended and in accordance with health and Safety procedures
• Prompt reporting of any accidents or near misses
• Operate equipment in accordance with laid down procedures
• Assist the Shift Supervisor in tasks such as Continuous Improvement, Health & Safety, Work Place Inspection, Risk Assessment as and when required
• Flexible approach to your work arrangements
• Achieve production target PPSH – pots per staff hours
• Full adherence to all company standards, policies and procedures including: personal hygiene, the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment, Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain the required hygiene standards of the repack environment and general housekeeping of working areas
• Ownership of personal development plan, identifying relevant opportunities & taking action

 Repack Key Operative - Key skills & experience:

• Able to work in a team
• Have experience in working in a chilled environment, ideally within FMCG
• Able to work shifts including days and nights
